Greta's scope and biopsy went very well today. She was in surgery for about 1 1/2 hours and the surgeon removed tissue from 5 areas in her chest. He said that by initial appearance that these could be all dead cells, but the pathology results will tell us what we are dealing with exactly. We expect results in about 2 days.
Otherwise, she came through pretty well, she has a chest tube in again, which was expected. They hope to remove that in a day or two. No word yet on when to expect her next chemo treatment. It's wait and see for now.
All in all everything went as well as we could hope today. For that we are very thankful.

the date of September 29 of the latest blog is my son's birthday, we did not do much but just got him a cake and he blew the candles. He told us that the wish he made is "all of us be safe". Such an expensive yet humble wish. For a moment I was thinking of you guys, I am sure Greta will be able to lead a normal life, blow candles like every other kids. Please be strong which you already are, you are always in our prayers. Just imagine, when she grows up, she actually will not remember any of these. Is it amazing ? Hope you have a great day today and many other good days to come.
You are one strong little girl. Keep it up. You have two of the worlds best parents and the best family there to support and love you. We are continually praying for you. Stay strong and get well. We love you.
